Night out with the Gal's at Alpino's

My Girl friends and I went out for dinner on Firday night down Lygon Street, busyest Restaurant strip in Melbourne, had many other photo's but they all turned out blured and no it wasn't from drinking to much, althought you would think so in the last image, Now we had not planned to go to this restaurant, we where ment to go to the one next door but the owner was out the front stopped us and offered us a free bottle of wine if we ate at his place, so who are we to refuse a free bottle of wine, and not to mention another one at half price I had the avocado chicken mmmm delish, had alot of laughs, fun was had by all. Allthough for dinner was only Helen, Lisa and myself and Janene showed up later, as Lisa wanted to go out after, I know I sound like and old fart getting home at midnight, but I had to prepare the house, for the open house inspection the next day, so I needed to have my beauty sleep and trust me I need alot of that, and take pretty pills too, give me the whole dame bottle!...lol

Lisa started to get a little naughty in the end, chatting up our waiter, he said his name was Mikey but well he lied, and made us guess where he was from which the gals and I where trying to guess all night, we gave up in the end can you believe he is Lebonese, never would have guessed that, But I must say Lisa for a joke said he was, and we all laught at her, sorry darling you where right we should not have laught at you!!!!! Lisa I've just noticed you naughty thing you have your tongue hanging out, ohooooo you flirty girl to Mikey who's taking our photo.Helen I know you thought he was a cute boy of only 20.

and I look like here I'd had to much, no lady's just caught me at the wrong time I say...hee, hee.

So may question is to LJ did you go back to see him...hee, hee. This I need to find out. Lots more I could tell but the convo went alittle dirty thanks to LJ and Janine and there dirty photo's on the mobile (cell ) phones so thing got to rude to say here! Thanks Girls I had a fantasic night of food, drink, laughter and friendship!

OH I Had Fun Today!

Boy did I have fun today, Mandii and Jude can over today to have a rummage through my stuff, we had some laughs and got alittle dusty, these ladys are a scream I'm so glad I got to meet Mandii, posting comments between us for alittle time now and finally got to meet! Thanks Mandii I hope you had fun and enjoy your little or should I say lots of treasures you found, Mandii was also in heaven when she walked in my Kitchen, don't worry Mandii if I ever decide to get rid of some of my things in my kitchen you will be the first I'll call....lol

Mandii and I above, gee I really look so attractive today, I think I really need a make over after looking at myself here!! and Mandii thinking yeah girlfriend fix yourself up and what are you doing wearing hubbys clothes and puts some make-up on while your at it....hee, hee. If you haven't meet this lady yet you should, she is beautiful, happy, bubbley and warm natured, you are welcome here anytime!

Jude and Mandii have a rummage! Jude from Midge and Judy's, is so much fun I have had the pleasure for the last few weeks dealing with here and her sister Michelle, with organizing Midge and Judy's childrens line, Jude and I could talk, chat, talk, chat all day most of the time we have to say I really must go and then another 15 mins goes by, and another...hee, hee. and Michelle she is my spelling police and corrects me with all the spelling mistakes I make hmmmmmm lets see how many Michelle finds in this post, thanks mum....lol,....lol so if you haven't been to my boutique please do to see there Childrens line they are just beautiful, and there's more stock arriving soon once my girls go back to school and I can get on top of it.

Now as you know things have been crazy here, I haven't been able to make any tags lately, but have some amazing designs in my head that is bursting to come out, so hopefully when these crazy house inspections finish I can get on top of those, Yesterday I had a building inspection, yahoo structurally sound and pest free, We have a dinner party at friends tonight, I have an open house inspection tomorrow at 5:00pm to 5:30pm, Dinner with girlfriends Friday night, 4 of us go out once every 2mths to catch up so that's going to be fun, you may have heard Lygon st Carlton, the best restaurant strip in Melbourne is where we are going so if I remember to take the camera I'll take so pic's and post it for you to see.

Now to my last post frantic mess I was, thanks to many of you that left a comment, saying that you wished you live in Melbourne to save me from throwing it out, But guess what good news my tantrum throwing worked as hubby let me keep all of it and said lets just do a big tidy up to make it look neat, but he did say as long as you sell it before we move, well that works for me, feeeeweeeh SAVED!!!!! so what I may do is start listing them in batches if no one wants to buy them how I've listed here on my blog, that way they will be smaller easier to send them through the post. Also have the cherubs home on school holidays "Break" for 2 weeks as well so lots of entertaining there. Oh lady's of Australia my first ad in Country Home Idea's is in this issue on page 132, and next issue will have the review, so go have a little look at that all very exciting for me and will post that soon!

Well I hope each and every one of you had the most amazing Easter with family and friends, and you received lots and lots of Chocolate, I didn't even get one, just one lonely little one I would of been happy with, as I don't know if I told you I try to eat a family Block a night I feel like I've been deprived from my Easter special..... oh well I'll just have to steal some of my girls....lol.....oh I just remembered in a few weeks I have Easter again YEAH!!!! Greek Easter, maybe I'll get some chockie eggs there, my fingers are crossed, like hot crossed buns..hee, hee.

Sell, Sell, Sell , Baking Cookie

Well lady's the time has come, very sad moment for me, as I don't know if I really want to go through with selling My Adeline Home, I have spent the last two weeks painting the the carport and have you noticed my shutters are painted and back up beside the windows, and adding new plants to the garden, wow long time coming and now I have to sell, why is it we always do all this beautiful work when we want to sell our homes and drag our feet to finish it earlier so we can enjoy it for a while before we sell.....crazy! Ok the auction is on April the 19th, NOooooooooo it's to soooooooon Please let me enjoy it a little while long...... Guess what I can't, I had the real estate people over on Tuesday with all the paper work my hubby signed at ease, me on the other hand, well my hand was shaking did want to sign, I looked at Rob the real estate guy, and said to him now you are going to get us a good price aren't you, he replied, I do my best, and me being crazy as I am yelled loud back to him no you'll SHOW ME THE MONEY !! COME ON SAY IT WITH ME SHOOOW MEEE THE MOOONEEEY well hubby though I'd lost my marbles, and everyone couldn't stop laughing, Lucky for me Rob said it his favorite movie of all time, and never thought anyone would ever say this to him......LOL Well shutters are up as above and plants are growing beautifully as I turned all the soil over to make it look lush.......and had a few Malibu and cokes along the way as I was soooo thirsty......no jokes lady's!! I know Kirstie rhymes with thirsty, so we had a thirsty Kirstie....hee, hee, well it hot here, don't worry I mainly drank H20.
Now the above image is the porch leading to the front door, I have to say lady's I'm going to miss sitting out here have my first morning cup of tea, watching the beautiful butterflies flutter by actually why do they call them butterflies, there's no butter, why don't we call them flutterflies because that's what they do flutterby, Oh and the late night glass of wine when the weather is warm.....O my gosh I sound like a plonker, Malibu and cokes, glasses of wine, I reassure you I don't drink that much. Now the climbing rose, Pierre de Ronsard, I have been waiting for this thing to grow faster to train it to go around the pole, guess when it reached up pass my head, the last four weeks, Please let me see you in bloom before I leave here dear Pierre. Now did I tell you lady's the Adeline Street is a tree lined street when diving up you don't see alot of sky as the trees cover over the road like a canopy, spring through to summer you have a wonderful shade, Autumn, the Fall to Us lady's, you watch the leave change from green to yellow, orange/red to brown then fall off, leading up to winter you have this pinky orange hue mist through the leafless trees that make a wonderful drive to your door, I'll miss living here, so peaceful, so quite, with the occasional moan from the elderly home across the way...hee, hee
Looking out the back door from the kitchen, I enjoy sitting here as well, with all the drinks mentioned above.....lol
Well here is my dear beautiful cute kitchen, shabby and bright and all things nice, can you smell the wonderful Karla's Sugarwings Sugar Rose Cookies, scroll down and you will see, well it's been a fantastic cottage kitchen.
And the wonderful warm cosy lounge room I have changed the style a little, it looks more like the top image than the bottom, the photo's for the estate add are a bit different, I'll post that soon when it sent to me. In winter the warmth in this room is amazing even though that little heater doesn't look like much, it punches out the heat, and the heat stays in the timber line walls, making it warm and cosy, many time I've snuggled up on the couch with a warm drink, watching a fav TV show, or fav Mag, I just love this room.

Ok Cooking, well last week both cherubs where home because of a teacher stop work meet, so I thought I'd spend the day in the kitchen with the girls, Maddi made chocolate cookies, I think she put more cookie dough in her mouth then rolling them into a ball.......are gotcha Maddi, you stole the cookie...hee, hee.

Sta wanted to ice up here cookies while I tried doing the roses from the Sweet Treats and Roses book thank-you Karla for your wonderful recipe with the roses, visit Karla's Cottage http://karlascottage.typepad.com/ anyway this is the one Sta picked to do..........well look down they look nothing like roses.....Lol
Look at Karla's in the photo above, and look at mine what a mess, I think I'll leave them to Karla the Queen of icing roses, Sorry Karla for messing them up. I said to Sta mummy can't do the rose they look yuk, her reply was Oh mummy there beautiful they look like roses to me, can I give some to my teacher....OK....and thank darling for being so sweet, as long as you can see they look like roses, that's all that matters.
Oh my goodness I forgot I added this photo, what a bloody joke, I give bread makes a bad name...hee,hee, My hubby and girls gave me a bread maker for my birthday last year in October, and I hadn't had the chance to have it out of the box, until this day I thought how hard can it be, get it out of the box read the instructions and off you go. I don't know what happened, but to me it looks like the top of Areas Rock, well it felt like rock, actually if you turn your head on your left side it looks like some sort of screwed up face see the eye's and the nose and puckered lip's, back to the instructions I go, you know I make better bread in the oven, know wonder you see so many bread making machines on ebay, any takers, Sta and I tried to feed the Magpie {birds} even they wouldn't ....so it must be bad, cause they eat everything!!

A Little Bit Of Everything

Ok because I haven't posted for a while I never got to share my excitement when I recieved my Sweet Treats and Roses Book, lady's that's all 41 of you, and me that makes 42 of us are blessed with the most amazing talent, I will cherish this gorgeous vintage Sweet Treats and Roses book for ever, what an honour to be mixing it up with the best of them. Special thank-you goes to Karla and Beth for putting it on and spending hours of there time making all the covers. My front cover I had wished for when Karla first posted them after making it, and much to my surprise I recieved the one I wanted....How's that for Law of Attraction. Also thank-you for making up little extras for me Karla they all are just gorgeous, that you can see beside on the right. and I also want to thank Karla for my lovely tag that came with my book, but my problem is which Karla, is it Karla from Karlas Cottage or is it Karla from Sugar Bear Design... come on lady's own up, which one of you is it hmmmmmmm, as I just want to thank-you...... I had such fun doing this swap and being my very first ever swap was alittle scary but look at the finished book.....Just beautiful, you can go back through my posts to see my page I made for all the lady's.
EDIT: I have just realized and brought to my attention, by Linda my Blinged Bird House is a month early....Aussie gals think there going to be late but end up being to early....lol, Blinged Bird House showing date is 27th March.

Bling Your House, well lady's here it is my little bird house, I have to say I really enjoyed making this cute bird house, You know when I finished it my hubby said to me, it looks alot like a Shabby Japanese Temple Bird House.......I said well I don't know about that, but as I'm sitting here typing, I looked over to take a glance at it and you know something because it's sitting up high on my dresser, it dose look a lot like a Shabby Japanese Temple Bird House....lol.

Now starting from the top, the point of the Shabby Japanese Temple Bird House has been heavily glittered in pink with pearl and gold bow wreath, below there you will find a row of vintage buttons that run right the way round, moving down to the roof rose fabric, and added on each corner a pearl with jewel gem, a row of pale blue jewels, I have used vintage sheet music that has been washed with pink on the front wall , the opening has been pink glittered, the fence posts have been decorated in shabby fabric and paper, embellished with a beautiful vintage blue and white flower with a blue jewel in the center, surrounded with little white flowers, vintage lace that also runs right the way round, with pale green glittery leafing and twiggy beads as branches, around each exterior wall and roofing has a different vintage wallpaper or shabby fabric and two more rows of pale pink jewels,
Sooooo there you have it my Shabby Japanese Temple Blinged up Bird House, I hope you all enjoy my pretty creation, and I'm more than happy to sell or swap my bling bird house. If anyone wants to buy my birdy house feel free to contact me and or anyone that is in the Bling your Birdhouse buy, sell, swap feel free to contact me asap.....Now there is only one boohoo so it's first in best dressed.

Now to the Lovely Pina, I have decided to bring Pina on board, as you can see her work is just gorgeous, I do paint myself but I though seeing I have my hands full of my own work doing my tags and sourcing products for my boutique, I would leave this to the experts, like Pina. All Pina's work is of the Shabby Chic colour pallet, that have a romantic vintage feel. Pina paints on canvas, candles and signs that are from antique salvage timber, Please feel free to view her collection in my boutique under Pina's Vintage Rose please visit often as her collection grows. Right finally to to the lovely lady's that visited me and left comments on my last post, I want to thank you all for the heart warming comments you left, I am feeling alot better thank you, I think I'll just put it down to being over whelmed with alot of work or should I say slowing down to quick, you know when you are going fast at everything, making stock, finding stock, blogging, taking photos to uploading, phone calls, sorting out my publication for Country Home Ideas mag, house work, attending to garden, school for cherubs, dinners, husband and not to mention trying to get house completed as we might be selling My little Adeline Cottage....I took a small rest and found my self slowing down and hit a brick wall and began to cry that whole day, so out came the Secret read, read, read, and now I'm back on track.....hooray. I don't want to go back there again, I felt like I wanted to pack it all in.....this is hard work lady's how do you all do it, you all seem to have neat as a pin homes and still manage to make and add so many beauty's to your sites, I just have to leave my house work for one day and BOOM my house looks like a bomb has hit it......well I hope the estate agent can look pass all that to day when he comes.....hee, hee.
