Features and other lovely things.....

Hi everyone long time no see, I know, I know, I've been really slack lately with my posts, so that's why I decided to to a big one, SOOOO here is a sneak preview of my Christmas tags, there are many more in the making and will be listed in my online boutique, mid October, I hope you all love them as mach as I have loved making them, also look out for them in Country Home Ideas mag, as they will be in there as well
Frosty The Santa
Merry Elegant Christmas
Now a while back in issue Vol 7 No2, I had a review on my tags but didn't have the chance to upload the feature to my post, as I had major PC glitches, so I thought for those of you that didn't see it here it is.

Also had another review in the same mag Vol 7 No 6, which was last months, on my website, all about how I started my online shop, so that was all very exciting, to be seen in the glossies

Now this months issue, I couldn't go passed mentioning my add, as the Cottage Style Street Team "Bride To Be" gift basket is in the mag, click on and enlarge the image to read, so Ladies from the Cottage Style Street Team, if you would like an issue of the mag please drop me a line, and I'll send one to you. I have to mention this in the best add that has been in the mag yet, I just love the soft, muted colourway. Also I had a review a few weeks back on Aged Vintage Papier as I am a member there, The lovely Amy has written up a beautiful review there on me and a bit of my life there, thank-you so much Amy you did a beautiful job, so please if you would like to know alittle more about me please drop in and see Amy at Aged Vintage Papier and have a read.
Now I did promise a little look inside Silver Swan Cottage, the rental we are living in until we find something to buy, Spring is now here the flowers are from the garden here, OMG these roses are just heavenly, and the smell ooooh, just beautiful.
This is in the dining area, just off the open plan kitchen and lounge, just alittle vignette of my favorite things.
Rose water painting, little hankie basket just love these baskets, little perfume bottles, mini tea pot, the most beautiful pink ever vase,
and other love things,

this is the lounge, now those of you that know me, know that I usually have major cluttering going on but being a rental for a year or two, I decided to go minimal, so with spring here and summer on the way I have a very beachy theme going on, Whites, creams, earthy tones with accents of blue, turquoise, greens, black and very little of pale dusty pinks, I know this image doesn't do it any justice as you can't see what's on the other walls, but at this stage I'm loving it and of course less to dust......Yeah!
Now to some pretties, look what came in the post 3 days ago, Oh Holly I just love my box of eye candy, can't what to create something with all this of beauty. Thanks Hon, even better then I thought it would be.
Ok, now this I loved making, also a proud member of Sweet Six Studio, this was a wonderful project, we joined in at Sweet Six Studio, Parfum label and design by Natasha, alot of froofing lot of pink and loving it but my only concern is Natasha I can't use my bath salts, why you ask....Hmmmm I don't have a bath here at Silver Swan Cottage only a shower....boo, hoo!Now to my wall hangings, with beautiful millinery flowers, that I have been working on, will be listed online boutique in a few days.

arrrrrr my first batch of soap cakes, still more in the making, this one is listed in my boutique. Now.

Beautiful scented hearts, in store now, and will be online for orders in October.

How beautiful are these French velvet and lace , and Vintage French floral and lace doorstops, in store now and online boutique October

Vintage velvet and organza roses, coming soon.
Now to these beautiful vintage style aprons, every colourway is OMG just beautiful, these also will be released online in the next few days,

Here is an up date of my little Adeline Country Cottage, I should of taken this shot the next day as the whole of the front is just jam packed full with still more stock arriving and ladies I do promise I'll start uploading to my online boutique soon.
Just alittle bit of heaven. Now to a few images of the last few days before packing and moving out of our Adeline Country Cottage, My girls taking a break outside from packing, how cute, they still don't know I took this photo of them, I think they where trying to hide from me, so they didn't have to pack anymore but I think the parasols where a dead give away....lol I miss my slice of Heaven!

Ok I know time to move on to bigger and better things!
well I really must stop there, time to go do some more tags, you can view my French line newly listed online, they will be active on Monday 22nd Sept so please stop by, And I'll have lots more pretties to show next post, so I hope you all have a wonderful dreamy day and stop by soon.

My Shop is Open!

Ok I know I haven't been blogging for a while, sorry about that, but things have been crazy around here! and NO! I still haven't started packing yet but I must say my house looks like a bomb has hit it....I've been busy setting up my shop still lots more to go in but it now is OPEN, my shop is at Pipeworks Fun Market, 400 Mahoneys Road, Campbellfield, Melbourne, Victoria. And the shop number is 321-322. We open last week but I'm sorry Lady's I didn't get to post the GRAND OPENING! like I wanted to, my mouse on the computer wouldn't work by the time I worked out the real problem, which was the USB port it was to last to posted the OPENING....boohoo, so here it is images of our shop as you can see I still need to add lots more stock around the out side I kind of feel a little bear compared to all the other shop owners but each week I'm adding more and more, Vintage, Antiques, Cottage, French, Junk Chic and Shabby Chic.

Some of the items we sell,

Soft furnishings & set setting up stage, boxes here and there,

I was taken by surprise today, I was chatting to some customers when a beautiful person snuck up behind me, I turn around and nearly screamed the place down as I recognized that beautiful smile, from her blog, Yes you guessed it the one and only talented and beautiful Natasha, girl you have got some energy....lol, fluttering around fast like a butterfly.....actually I hope you liked your butterfly on the gift I gave you. Also Natasha bought in my beautifully handmade garland she made just for me, you know the ones the little timber aqua blue painted ones with her beautiful silver glitter words, mine spelt out Adeline Country Cottage, I am thrilled to bits Natasha, Natasha also tied them to my selvage gate out the front they look fantastic hanging out there, but the only thing is I don't get to see them that much out there, something so beautiful made by a friend I need to have them right under my nose, and poor STA my daughter when for a six and landed on her bottom as her shoes where slippery, she was trying to get to a little girl to tell her off because she was touching and trying to pick off the glitter on the garland...lol, We had lots of fun chatting, wish we had more time as it felt like it went to quick, Natasha also took some photo's of the shop and us together, me I forgot my camera, hopefully soon we will have more time!

Also I had my little review in this months Country Home Idea magazine on page 126, show casing some of my tags, that's really exciting, I'll post that soon I haven't taken a photo of that yet to show you, but soon I will.

And here are some of my custom made Rococo Chair tags the I made for Vintage Glamour, designed just for Maritza & Paul, so if you like to get your hands on these you will have to visit Maritza & Paul at Vintage Glamour and Parisian Flair in Sydney.

All design and images made by me are copy right, please do not copy or reproduce designs and images in anyway.

So ladies I hope you have a chance to drop in and see me, and please make yourself know as I love to meet you.

What do you like best of your home decoration?

Ok today our beautiful friend Marina is hosting a party, What do you like best of your home decoration? I know alot lot of you may have seen some of these images before, but I haven't had the chance to update them, so here goes.I love my little country kitchen, its quite small as I love collecting everything Shabby and chic and cottage looking, I also have a few Greek painting thought my home as my hubby being Greek, and I love the blue from the sky to the blue painted Greek domes on the top of their churches, so I've tryed to incorporate that, in the kitchen here with the blue crystal cut knobs on the kitchen dresser, the Moroccan glass wear, Greek painting on top of the dresser, to the blue planter on the Island bench, there is other little blue kitchen wear through out the kitchen but out of range,
moving into the living room blue hydrangeas are displayed while the two arm chairs have been covered in blue roses on a pale blue background fabric, to cover a ugly yet not in my colour pallet fabric, the 40 year old rug given to us by my hubby's father, has flecks of blue through the beautiful design, with blue throw cushions on the couch, I just love the way the sun pours through the french doors in the mid morning,

The antique blue door mirror hanging on the back wall is my favorite mirror, my husband brought this for me for my birthday a few years back, there is a story behind that mirror, my girlfriend owned and antique shop when we were living in Warrigul about a hour and 20 mins out of Melbourne, country side, I loved that mirror and I kept telling my hubby I really want it, he told me at the time it was to pricey, weeks went by still visiting my friend and one day I walked in there and saw a sold sticker on it, I said to my friend OMG you sold it she said what I said the mirror, so calm she was yeah I sold it yesterday, my heart was shatted, 3 weeks later it way birthday, hubby sent me home 2min walk, to pick-up some things for our shop, and I thought it was strange, we where living in a 50-60 year old inn with about 35 or more rooms, he sent me to a room that we only stored house hold boxes in it, the phone rang while I was there it was hubby did you find it he's saying to me, what I said back to him, well you can imagine my surprise when I opened the door, I screamed with excitement so load I nearly burst his ear drums, you sod I told him you let me believe all this time I missed out on this mirror.....so there's the little storey to that mirror.....lol Now to my little cute rose scented soap cupcakes that I make, I haven't made these for a while now, I use to sell these on eBay, I think I need to start making them again, to put them on my site.
and also my cottage rose scented soap cakes, hmmmmm why did I stop making these? I think I'm going to start making them again to sell, I use to sell lots, yes that's it I'm going to start them again.

Ok I hope you enjoyed visiting my What do you like best of your home decoration? thank-you for stopping by, and thank-you Marina for a great party, now it's time for me to come over to your home, see you soon make shaw you have tea and cakes I'm really hungry!

Hugs
