Found treasures and other lovely things

Well to begin with our naughty night was fantastic, we stayed up on the 28th floor at the Crown Towers, I did take photos but everyone of them turned out blury, hubby and I dinned at Jay Jay's restaurant, OMG the food was divine, and our time together reconnecting was amazing, I can't remember how much talking and laughing we did without the cherubs asking for something, mean while having all that much beautiful time together I still couldn't get my mine off our cherubs as they where staying at my good friend Helen's house, and wondering if they are being good girls, so I had gather myself together and enjoy what was going on in front of me, so after our lovely meal we went down into the casino to play some games, won a little woohoo!

the next day hubby and I picked the cherubs up and headed off to Daylesford, for another 3 days, very relaxing I might add, did some site seeing, visited a place called The Mill and here are some treasures I found.

Now I'm not shaw about these? any idea's? I loved the look and had to have them! will also be listed soon.
Then to mothers day, A beautifully wrap gift for my mother,
with butchers paper, vintage lace held together by a vintage pearl hat pin, tied off with tobacco brown seam binding and vintage lace ribbon, velvet maroon cabbage rose, my mother loved it.

A new tag design I'm working on, what do you think?

Ok I'm in need of some help from you! I have this Lloyd Loom, or though she dose look beautiful as is, all vintage, (sorry about the blurry images) but I'm thinking of just changing the fabric, still using a vintage fabric, you know to give it a whole new look, I wont be painting the bottom as she already has a Shabby Chic feel, so what do you think from this,

to this, I do think it looks beautiful with this vintage fabric that I was so lucky to fined three mtrs of, I think some throw cushions for me would be nice...lol

and yes when I have completed it, It will be going to my online boutique, So ladies please feel free to let me know what you think of the fabrics,

Well must go for now just a short one, have lots to catch up on, have a wonderful Vintage Day
Hugs
Kirstie.

How wonderful to hear what a great time you had at Crown. Does you good to have some 'couple time'.
Love the fabric for the Lloyd Loom but I think it would look fabulous if the fabric were a bit more washed out looking - maybe bleached to fade or using the wrong side depending on the look of it.

Hi Kirstie,
It was great to hear that your 'naughty' weekend was, well 'naughty'! GO GIRL!!!
Have heard lots about Daylesford, sounds like a lovely place to visit, glad you got time to do some sight seeing & also a bit of retail therapy! Great finds.
Ok, I would go with a white backround fabric with maybe some really faded bunches of roses, I don't think that the colour way will matter that much since the bottom is such a neutral colour/tone. I have also been taken with vintage paisley patterns at the moment so that could be another look as well. Good luck!
Have a great week.

Kirstie, love those hat pins. I never seem to see any. And the way you wrapped your mom's gift - SO very beautiful. Just perfectly lovely!
